Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. Boston Pizza Kitchen Managers share a passion for food and provides leadership, training and coaching to a team of committed restaurant employees. We focus on making food fresh in house, while maintaining the highest standards of food and workplace safety.
Responsibilities
• Oversees all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Oversee the prep cooks making of house-made dough, pasta and fresh ingredients
• Oversee the day to day operations of the line cooks who prepare and cook our various dishes including pizza and pasta
• Lead the culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Provide leadership and coaching to both full time and part time staff.
• Conduct interviews and hire individuals who will help grow the restaurant.
• Manage the employee weekly schedule.
• Communicate shift priorities and responsibilities prior to the start of every shift.
• Work with a team of managers and a regional operations manager to manage and shape the restaurant profit & loss statements.
• Exemplify exceptional leadership skills using our core values and coaching.
Requirements
• Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
• The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
