The Kitchen Manager at Canada's leading casual dining restaurant, Boston Pizza, oversees the daily operations of the kitchen, this includes the managing, scheduling, training, and control over food/labour costs. The Kitchen Manager leads the team during operations focusing on serving perfect food, every time, and working with a sense of purpose and urgency.
Additionally, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, receiving and preparation of all foodstuffs according to BP policies and practices. 🔧 What You’ll Do
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with Boston Pizza standards and Alberta Health Services regulations.
Lead pre-shift meetings, line checks, and safety audits to uphold food safety and quality.
Manage food and supply inventory, control costs, and minimize waste (target <1% per shift).
Drive sustainability goals—reduce packaging costs by 12-15% compared to 2024.
Maintain equipment functionality and coordinate timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
Lead, coach, and develop your kitchen team with ongoing training and performance reviews.
Ensure a clean, organized, and motivating work environment.
