Looking for a day time server with availability for Sundays!  The server is responsible for providing the Perfect Guest Experience (PGE) by ensuring the service of all food and beverage items to the guests in a prompt, efficient,friendlyand courteous manner. They must also ensure the dining room, lounge, and patio are kept clean and presentable.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting the guests, informing them of promotions/specials,andtaking theirorders 

• Following guidelines and keeping up to date with Boston Pizza standardssuch as:product knowledge, menu updates, promotions, etc.

• Enteringguestsorders ontoabillforthe heart of houseand bartendersto receive 

• Pouring drinks for guests 

• If the server is not of legal age to servealcohol,they must ask aserver who isoflegalageto make thealcoholicdrinksand serve thealcoholicdrinksfor them

• Making sure the guests have the proper cutlery, utensils,and condimentsbefore their food arrives to the table

• Constantlymonitoringthepass throughfor completed delivery orders (only delivering food when it is approved and packagedby the expeditor; assembling delivery food orders for guestsif there is no expeditoron shift)

• Conductinga quality check to ensure the guests’expectations are met and exceeded

• Constantlyobservingtablesby being visible andreadily available toassistguestswith anyrequests

• Busingthe table as soon as the guests are finishedbyclearing plates, cutlery, condiments, etc. 

• Clearing off and organizing dirty plates, bowls, cutlery, etc. in the sculleryarea

• Providing guests with their bills and finishing the transaction

• Handling andmaintainingdesignated cashier float expectable shortage .05% or less 

• Stocking and organizingdining room, lounge, and patiowith necessary operating supplies

• Completingdailychecklists, weekly cleaning lists, and other operational checklists 

• Cleaning and maintenance of facility and equipment;paying special attention to dining room, lounge, and patio areas

• Following food safety regulations

• Working as a team with co-workers to achievek-times, labor, waste, and food costs

• Delighting guestswith friendly and caring service

• Handling guests’ special requests and allergies with care

• Acknowledging andassistingwithguest concerns with help from supervisors/managers

• Following allCanaltaand Boston Pizza policies and proceduresincluding:Confidentiality, Conditions of Employment, Respectful Workplace, Uniforms, etc.

• In the absence of a bartender, servers must resume all duties and responsibilities of a bartender 

• In the absence of a host/hostess, servers must resume all duties and responsibilities of a host/hostess

• In the absence of a scullery technician, servers must help with the cleanliness and maintenance of the dish pit

Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.00 CAD Hourly
